✦ Origin & Story

From the soil to your kitchen

The meetha mixture is Ratlam's answer to the argument every household has — sweet or savoury. It is both. Fine besan sev, golden boondi and crisp fried lentils are tossed warm with a measured hit of powdered sugar and a whisper of Malwa spice, so each handful swings between sweet and savoury. Everything is fried fresh in small batches and mixed by hand the same day, the way the old Ratlam halwais have always done it — no artificial colour, no preservatives.

Purity Checklist

Sweet-Savoury, Done by Hand

Powdered sugar and spice tossed through warm by hand so the balance is even — not a machine-coated, uniform sweetness.

Stone-Ground Besan

The sev and boondi both start from gram flour milled fresh in small batches.

Fried Fresh, Small Batches

Every component fried the same day it is mixed. Crunch you can hear.

No Artificial Colour

No synthetic yellows or oranges — the colour comes from besan, turmeric, and clean frying.
